SurveyNFK is the City’s on-going architectural survey initiative. As a Certified Local Government, the City is responsible for continuing to add to and update the architectural and cultural resource survey of Norfolk. This survey helps identify potential historic districts and sites so that they can be documented, researched, and preserved.
With assistance from Certified Local Government Grants and Cost Share Survey and Preservation Planning Grants, the City has completed the following survey work since 2020:
