Randi Marston Peterson Maker Studio

at Mary D. Pretlow is a place for patrons to create, learn, play and explore with high-quality equipment. The RMP Maker Studio has five areas: Recording, Photo/Video, Gaming, Crafting, Textiles and Coding/Robotics.

Innovation Hub

at Jordan-Newby @ Broad Creek featuring the Teleservices Kiosk and Memory Lab. The Teleservices Kiosk enables patrons to hold virtual appointments privately, securely, and reliably with health professionals and government representatives. The Memory lab allows patrons to turn precious memories into forever files.     

Playscapes are stimulating environments where infants can develop essential gross motor skills through floor play. The early years are crucial for skill development, and Playscapes provide the perfect space for growth and exploration.

KidZones are exciting spaces where parents and children can bond through uninterrupted play, meet new friends, and discover valuable skills together. These destinations offer parents a chance to connect with other adults and gain essential early literacy information, all while their children have fun.

Our Teen Zones offer a dynamic space with a computer lab, gaming lounge, musical instruments, collaborative study rooms, and a chill lounge area. It's the perfect place for teens to learn, relax, and connect with friends.

The Nature Explorium is a 5,000 square foot outdoor classroom with active learning stations that offer a way to connect learning, literacy, and an appreciation of nature as a regular part of a library visit for children and families.
