Registration for Norfolk Parks & Recreation's 2025 S.O.A.R. After-School Program [for Norfolk Public Schools students (grades K-8)] is set to begin July 21, 2025. Registration opens online and in-person at participating recreation centers on Monday, July 21, at 12:30 p.m.

S.O.A.R. Fees:

Grades K-5: Regular $80/month  & PowerUp $40/month
Grades 6-8: Regular $40/month & PowerUp $20/month

PowerUp Pricing: The PowerUp program is designed to increase access to Norfolk’s many arts, entertainment, and cultural amenities by offering free or discounted admission and/or membership fees to low-income residents. PowerUp pricing provides for a 50% discount for eligible Norfolk Parks and Recreation SOAR participants. You will not be able to apply for PowerUp pricing online. Those eligible to register for the PowerUp program must bring a valid Medicaid or qualifying insurance card to one of our nine recreation facilities for verification.
