What is Esports? Esports (Electronic Sports) is competitive video gaming where competitors face off in single or multi-player games (Fortnite, League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch NFL Madden, etc.) on various platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, etc.) across the world. Esports is recognized as a collegiate sport in colleges and universities across the country, offering athletic scholarships. In 2021, Esports attracted the second-highest viewer count by sport in the U.S., behind only the NFL.
