Program Update (as of January 14, 2026)
The City of Norfolk's Nourish the City Grant offers funding for non-profit or neighborhood organizations working to address food insecurity and expand access to nutritious, affordable food. Mini-Grants ranging from $2,500 - $10,000 are available for eligible projects including, but not limited to, community gardens, co-ops, farmers markets, and food pantries.
Applications for Year 1 grants are now closed. Award notifications have been sent to all applicants.
