Requests for bulk waste collection must be made by 3 p.m. the day prior to trash collection day, unless otherwise noted in the chart above, using the MyNorfolk Mobile App (iOS or Android), the MyNorfolk online portal or by calling Norfolk Cares at (757) 664-6510 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays).
Blue recycling containers are collected on the same scheduled day of the week as green containers; however, recycling is collected every other week.
