The Draft Plan is Here!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our June open houses across the city — from the Southside to Ocean View — to review the Draft Comprehensive Plan, ask questions and share ideas for Norfolk’s future.  For those who couldn’t make it, we have more opportunities to comment before Phase III public engagement ends.

The team is now gearing up for the final round of engagement to close out Phase III with two methods to leave your feedback on the Draft Plan through July 21.

  • Online Survey – This activity provides an opportunity to comment on the five main sections of the Draft Plan. Tell us what you think – what goals are most important to you?  What is missing?  You can also view the full Draft Plan here.
    • Take the Survey
  • In-person Drop Boxes– If you prefer seeing a physical copy of the draft plan, visit one of our drop box locations during their business hours and fill out a comment card. Take your time to review the draft in full, or keep your feedback focused on the core sections, indicated by tabs.
