Want to be More Involved or Host Your Own Meeting?  Now You Can!

NFK2050 Champions

Are you looking to be more involved in your community? Becoming an NFK2050 Champion might be for you!  NFK2050 Champions serve as community ambassadors responsible for connecting with local community members as part of the NFK2050 Comprehensive Plan.

Champions interact and record information shared during community engagement events to further connect with the public and develop positive relationships with the Norfolk community. Champions will report to the NFK2050 project team with their findings and feedback from these events. For more information and to sign up to be a Champion, please visit www.norfolk.gov/NFK2050Champions

Meeting-in-a-Box

A “meeting in a box” allows community groups, organizations, and businesses to host informal conversations about NFK2050, and communicate back to the NFK2050 team about what you heard and what’s most important in YOUR neighborhood.

We want to hear your voice! This portable meeting, led by a facilitator, is part of the NFK2050 engagement process and allows participants to give feedback in a more flexible way on their vision for the future of Norfolk.

Who can be a facilitator?

Any business owner, employee, civic league member, volunteer, community activist, resident, etc. can host a Meeting-in-a-Box!

How can I get the materials to host a Meeting-in-a-Box?
