[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police ask for help identifying woman in assault investigation

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are seeking help from the public to identify a woman believed to be involved in an assault that occurred last week at Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.

On January 23rd, at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital, located at 830 Kempsville Rd., for a repoCrime Bulletinrt of an assault that happened inside the medical facility.

During the investigation, officers learned that a woman believed to be involved had already left the scene in a dark-colored Hyundai Tucson.

Detectives are releasing photos of the unidentified woman and are asking anyone who recognizes her to contact the Norfolk Crime Line.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation.

Anyone who recognizes the unidentified woman may also submit a tip through the P3Tips mobile app. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
