NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a crash Thursday afternoon that left a woman dead.
On January 8th around 3:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Norview Avenue for the report of a single vehicle crash. When first responders arrived, they found a woman suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The driver, identified as Amanda E. McMillan, 55, of Virginia Beach, was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased from her injuries.
Investigators say they do not believe speed nor alcohol to be contributing factors in this crash.
