[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police make arrest following crash on E Little Creek Road

NORFOLK, Va. – (NPD) Norfolk Police have charged a 35-year-old woman in connection with an accident on E Little Creek Road that left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

Around 8:50 p.m. on November 24th, officers were in the area of E Little Creek Road and Chesapeake Boulevard when a crash occurred between a car and a motorcycle.

The driver of the car continued driving, and officers were able to stop the vehicle in the 7800 block of Chesapeake Boulevard.

Paramedics responded and transported the motorcyclist, a 54-year-old woman, to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

Following the investigation, Alexandra A. Lozano, 35, of Norfolk, was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, driving without a license, and hit and run.

Lozano is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail.MissingRunaway

This crash investigation is being handled by the Norfolk Police Department’s Fatality Team.
