NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police have arrested a man in connection with a hit and run investigation that left another man dead.
On October 7th, around 5:30 p.m., police were called to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for the report of a 34-year-old man who had passed away from injuries sustained during a motorcycle crash.
During their investigation, detectives determined the man, Harvey G. Midgette III, 34, of Norfolk, had sustained his injuries during a hit and run crash in the 1400 block of Gabriel Drive.
Following their investigation, detectives charged Eddie Goodman, 68, of Norfolk, with hit and run.
Goodman was arrested on October 8th and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail.
