NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a crash that left two people injured.
Around 9:00 p.m. on July 20th, police were called to the 1700 block of Church Street for the report of a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver involved in the crash was detained near the scene by Officers for the investigation.
This incident is being handled by the Norfolk Police Department's Traffic Fatality Unit.
Investigators say alcohol is not considered to be a contributing factor.
