NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a serious crash on Granby Street that left a man dead.
On April 18th around 7:15 a.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of Granby Street for the report of a car accident with injuries. When Officers arrived, they found a car had hit a curb and left the roadway.
The driver, later identified as Mario A. Jones, 26, of Norfolk, was taken to the hospital where he died from his life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Norfolk Police Department’s Auto Division.
