NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police have arrested and charged a woman in connection with a stabbing Thursday that left a man injured.
On January 9th, around 4:40 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Monticello Avenue and E 20th Street for the report of a stabbing victim.
When police arrived, they found a 39-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Following their investigation, detectives have charged Allyson R. Lyons, 37, of Norfolk, with malicious wounding and domestic assault.
Lyons was taken into custody at the scene and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
