NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a single car crash that left a man dead.
Around 9:50 p.m., on February 3, 2024, officers responded to the 8500 block of Chesapeake Boulevard for the report of a car that had hit a tree.
The driver, identified as Jeffery Pleasant, 23, of Richmond, was taken to the hospital where he later died as a result of his life-threatening injuries.
A passenger in the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Norfolk Police Department’s Auto Squad Unit
