NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a car crash that left a 7-year-old in critical condition.
On October 24, 2023, around 5:21 p.m., Officers responded to the 1700 block of Church Street for the report of a pedestrian hit by a car. The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a car was traveling through the 1700 block of Church Street when the child entered the street, and was hit.
The 7-year-old girl was transported to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters with life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained on scene, and this investigation is still ongoing at this time.
