NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested a man in connection to several commercial burglaries.
Officers responded to the Coach House, located at 5103 Colley Avenue, and CEO Executive Office building, located at 5215 Colley Avenue, on April 15th, for commercial burglary reports.
It was reported to police that both businesses had been broken into overnight, and some items had been taken, and others damaged.
As a result of their investigation, Detectives have arrested and charged Michael E. Ruiz, 23. Ruiz has also been charged for a third commercial burglary that occurred on April 25th at the Norfolk Fitness and Wellness Center located at 7300 Newport Avenue.
Ruiz is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
