[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police identify homicide victim from shooting on Illinois Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have identified the man killed following a shooting on Illinois Avenue.

On October 8th, around 4:40 a.m., Officers responded to the 3100 block of Illinois Avenue for the report of a gunshot disturbance. When police arrived, they found Jeremy H. McClarin, 37, suffering from life-threatening injuries. McClarin was pronounced deceased at the scene.
