NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Two people have been arrested in connection with a
home invasion robbery that occurred at Norfolk State University Spartan Suite’s and Dormitory on January
15, 2018.
20-year-old Tykeem J. Wiggins, of the 500 block of Barlow Drive in Portsmouth, has been charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
20-year-old William D. Holley, of the 200 block of Median Circle in Portsmouth, has been charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of felony.
According to detectives, Wiggins and Holley forced their way into an NSU dorm room armed with a handgun and held three people at gunpoint as they demanded money and personal property. There were no injuries reported.
Both men are currently being held at Norfolk City Jail without bond.
