[ARCHIVED] Armed masked man robs Norfolk 7-Eleven

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating a robbery at the 7-Eleven on Sewells Point Road that occurred Tuesday evening.   SewellspointRoadsuspect

Police were called to the convenience store located at 3644 Sewells Point Road just after 7:30 pm.

Detectives say that the suspect approached the clerk, displayed a gun and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled the area on foot and there were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black man in his twenties, around 5 feet 8 inches tall.  He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and a black mask covering his face.
