Norfolk, Va. (NPD) – A Norfolk man was arrested Saturday morning
after police found materials consistent with making meth at his residence.
Materials used to make meth discovered by probation officers, man detained
Police discovered
the small meth lab shortly before 2 a.m. this morning after probation officers
went to check on Melville R. Dickerson at his residence in the 8000 block of
Lion Avenue. When officers arrived,
they discovered materials that are constant with manufacturing
methamphetamines inside a detached garage.
Dickerson has
been charged with one count each of manufacturing methamphetamines and
possession of drugs. He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail with
no bond.
There were no
injuries reported.
