NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - Norfolk police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man who robbed a convenience store and sexually assaulted the clerk this morning.
Just before 5:00 this morning a man entered the 7-Eleven located at 100 W. 21st Street and displayed a handgun. He robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of money, then forced the clerk into a back room where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20’s, around 5’6” to 5’8”. He was last seen wearing a black tee-shirt, black pants, a black beanie style cap and reflective sunglasses.
