NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives charged a man in connection with a shooting on Easter morning.
Police and Fire-Rescue responded to the 800 block of Fremont Street shortly before 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning for reports of a gunshot disturbance. Officers confirmed three people were shot during the incident, all suffering from what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives positively identified the suspect as 33-year-old Louis Parker of the 800 block of Fremont Street (shown in the attached photo). Parker was one of three injured in the shooting and was taken into custody shortly after the incident occurred.
Parker is charged with two counts of malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He remains in custody at the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
