NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk police detectives investigate a shooting incident that left a man hospitalized on Christmas Eve.
At approximately 6:20 p.m. Saturday evening, Norfolk dispatchers received reports of a possible gunshot victim in the 700 block of Boush Street. Officers responded to the scene and located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was transported by medics to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Detectives continue to canvass the area while they conduct their preliminary investigation. This appears to be an isolated incident, and at this time, no suspect description has been released.
