NORFOLK, Va.. – Norfolk police detectives continue to search for leads after a morning shooting incident.
Emergency dispatchers received calls for a possible gunshot victim at approximately 5:20 this morning. Callers indicated a man was lying outside in the 2500 block of Hale Street after shots had been heard in the area.
Police and fire-rescue responded to the scene and located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics transported the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
