NORFOLK, Va. – Detectives have positively identified the man fatally shot on Avenue H Monday morning.
Andre E. Valentine, 50, of the 8600 block of Chapin Street was found shot to death in the 900 of block of Avenue H Monday morning.
Shortly before 11 a.m., dispatchers received a report of a shooting near Avenue H and Davidson Street.
When police arrived, Valentine was located lying in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
