NORFOLK, Va. – Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) services will end early on Dec. 8 due to wintry weather.
- Bus service: All bus routes will end earlier than normal. A list of last trips can be found here: gohrt.com/alert/61162/.
- Tide Light Rail: The last westbound train departs Newtown Road Station at 7:20 p.m. and arrives at EVMC/Fort Norfolk Station at 7:44 p.m. The last eastbound train departs EVMC/Fort Norfolk at 7:26 p.m. and arrives at Newtown Road at 7:50 p.m.
- Elizabeth River Ferry: The last ferry trip will depart Waterside Ferry Dock at 7:45 p.m.
- Paratransit: No rides will be provided past 8 p.m.
- OnDemand Ridesharing: No rides will be accepted past 8 p.m.
- Base Express: Will operate according to its regular schedule.
The Customer Call Center and all transit centers will operate with their regular schedules.
Service for Dec. 9 is subject to change based on the storm’s impact. Customers should expect delays. The Hampton and Newport News Transit Centers will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
