NORFOLK, Va. – The City of Norfolk’s offices, including libraries, The Slover, recreation centers, Norfolk Animal Care Center, Commissioner of Revenue, City Treasurer and Norfolk Courthouse will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Regular business hours will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Trash, recycling and bulk waste collection will take place as scheduled. Bulk item pickup requests for Tuesday, Nov. 11, and Wednesday, Nov. 12, must be scheduled by 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10. Use the MyNorfolk mobile app, online portal, or call Norfolk Cares at (757) 664-6510 to request a bulk waste collection.
