The International Coastal Cleanup is an event that occurs every September and October, thousands of cleanups take place around the world. But, these aren’t your average cleanups! Volunteers will use tracking sheets to record the types and amount of litter found to help understand the root causes of litter. Bring your friends, family, coworkers, faith groups or just yourself and join in one of Keep Norfolk Beautiful's organized cleanup events or plan your own!
City of Norfolk's Spooktacular Cleanup
- Join us for a family friendly litter cleanup, shelter beautification, and little free library and raised garden bed construction projects! Feel free to dress up in our best spooky costume (no masks allowed)!

September 1 - November 1
- Gather your family, friends, colleagues, sports team, church group, scout troop or social club! Get together to clean your street, park, neighborhood or beach.
- All Supplies and training is provided!
