This course provides an overview of the elements for successful presentation design and delivery. Participants will learn the building blocks for a great presentation design and the importance of body language, tone of voice and managing anxiety when delivering a message. Participants will have an opportunity to apply design and delivery elements by working with a small group to prepare and present a brief presentation.
Day One (Aug. 6, 9 a.m.-noon): Training in the design and delivery of presentations
Day Two (Aug. 13, 9-11 a.m.): Group practice presentations
Location: Human Resources Multi-purpose room, 800 East City Hall Ave., Third floor
Target Audience: Whether you are a seasoned professional or new to public speaking, this program is tailored to enhance the skills of anyone tasked with presenting information, ideas or proposals.
