Whether you're coming downtown for Harborfest, a show at Scope or Chrysler or to watch Keyshawn Davis defend his world title, or cruising on Carnival's Sunshine, here's everything you need to know.

Additional info to be included:

Festival and event-goers are encouraged to plan ahead due to road closures along Waterside Dr., Boush St., Martin’s Ln., Atlantic St. and Commercial Pl. starting June 5 and continuing through June 8. On-street parking removals also begin on June 5. A full list of closures and removals is available at www.norfolk.gov/harborfest.

Parking garages will be payment on entry (cash, credit/debit and digital payments accepted) for $10 in City garages, except MacArthur South and MacArthur North garages which will be $5.

Norfolk Police will manage traffic flow around event closures. Festival goers are encouraged to opt-in to event-specific alerts by texting HARBORFEST to 888-777.

Patrons are encouraged to consider alternate routes coming and going as well as alternate transportation methods such as Hampton Road Transit’s ferry and light rail services.

The Carnival Sunshine will be at the cruise terminal on Saturday for both debarking and embarking passengers.

  1. Cruise ship passengers being picked up or dropped off by ride share, taxi or personal vehicle, will use the permitted zone in front of Todd Jurich’s Bistro on Boush St. and cross the intersection to the Nauticus entrance. Take Exit 9 Waterside Dr., turn right on St. Paul’s Blvd., turn left on Main St., turn right on Boush St. and the zone is immediately on the right.

  2. ADA passengers will be permitted to drop off in the Nauticus loop at the curb, per usual.  From St. Paul’s Blvd., take a left on either Freemason St., City Hall Ave. or Plume St. and then turn left onto Boush St. to get to access the terminal. Must show an ADA placard, ADA ID card or license plate emblem.

  3. Passengers arriving/departing with other local shuttle/van services (not provided through Carnival), will use the permitted zone on Boush St. between Plume St. and Tazewell St.
