NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police have arrested and charged a man following a string of commercial robberies.
On January 24th around 8:35 p.m. police responded to the Subway Store located at 3858 E Little Creek Road for a commercial robbery. Responding Officers were able to quickly locate the suspect, and after a short foot pursuit take the man into custody without incident.
As a result of this investigation, Detectives have charged Jeovany Rodriquez, 19, with six counts of robbery, one count of attempted robbery, seven counts of use of a firearm, and seven counts of unlawfully wearing a mask.
Rodriquez is currently being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
Additional businesses impacted are:
- 7-Eleven Store, located at 1161 W Ocean View Avenue, on December 8th, 2024
- China Town, located at 6138 Chesapeake Boulevard, on January 7th
- Marathon Gas Station, located at 1243 Norview Avenue, January 15th,
- Tinee Giant Store, located at 123 W Ocean View Avenue, on January 18th
- Domino's Pizza, located at 4231 E Little Creek Road, on January 20th
- 7-Eleven Store, 7901 Shore Drive, on January 20th
No injuries were reported during any of these incidents.
