Dear Norfolk SNAP/EBT Clients,
Norfolk Department of Human Services is aware of ongoing scams and fraud concerning SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits and EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) cards.
Norfolk residents who receive SNAP and have a loss of funds due to theft, card skimming, cyber theft or similar situation will need to complete a Client Attestation form available at the Norfolk Department of Human Services' office at 741 Monticello Ave.
Protect your benefits by never providing personal information to any unknown source and by changing your card PIN often. Please know that you will never be contacted and asked to provide your EBT card number or PIN.
