NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a single-car crash that left a man dead.
On September 6th around 8:40 a.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Sewells Point Road for the report of a car that had hit a pole.
The driver, later identified as Marvin E. Taft, 59, of Newport News, was taken to the hospital where he later died as a result of his life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Norfolk Police Department’s Auto Squad Unit.
