The Musical Celebration is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. at The Attucks Theater.  Admission is first come, first served and the maximum capacity for the venue is 550.

Watch the Blyden branch‘s historical journey through the performance of our cast Vincent Epps, Dawn Lindsey, Michael LeMelle and Sharon Williams-Mack. Becky Livas will be the evening's Mistress of Ceremonies and there will be special guest performances by pianist and music director, Lew Taylor, and Quiet Fire Band. Other performers include: Boys Choir of Hampton Roads, Butts Family Gospel Choir, Dominic Carr, Joanna Meza and Joshua Williams, Norfolk State University Vocal Music Jazz Ensemble, Danny Simmons, Mr. Silver Strings, Chrystall Elliott-Smith, Virginia Children's Chorus and Elbert Watson Dance Company.
