NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have charged a woman in connection with an early morning shooting that left a man dead.
Just after 5:00 a.m. on June 16, 2024, police were called to a parking lot in the 7900 block of Shore Drive for the report of a gunshot victim. When Officers arrived, they found a man, identified as 24-year-old Kimaun T. Ewell, of Richmond, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died as result of his injuries.
As a result of their investigation, Detectives arrested and charged Kiana T. Ewell, 32, of Richmond, with second-degree murder and use of firearm.
Kiana T. Ewell is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Detectives have not released any additional circumstances surrounding this incident.
