Today is National Employee Appreciation Day and I would like to take a moment to celebrate all of you.

Public service is the backbone of our community and you have continued to rise to the occasion bringing innovative approaches, new ideas and a steadfast commitment to our residents and community members.

Some of your efforts may take place largely behind the scenes, but they do not go unnoticed.

Each one of you uniquely contributes to the betterment of our city and I could not be more proud of your work.
