NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting that happened over the weekend.
On September 2, 2023, around 11:20 p.m., police responded to the 2700 Gate House Road, near Colchester Crescent for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found a man inside of a vehicle who was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, later identified as Jahari George, 20, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
