Stay safe in City Parking garages from Tips from National Safety Council

  1. Stay focused and alert whenever you’re behind the wheel. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a parking lot or on the freeway, going 7 mph or 70. The danger is still there.

  2. Don’t text and drive – ever. In addition to being a bad idea, it’s against the law in Florida.

  3. Don’t speed, and use even more caution in inclement weather.

  4. When finding a parking spot, don’t cut across lanes to save time. Stay in the designated lanes.

  5. Obey traffic signs in the parking lot and remember to use your turn signals.
