On June 13, 2023, City Council approved the FY 2024 Operating Budget which included a one-time $660 supplemental payment to eligible NERS retirees that had a minimum of 20 years of creditable service and were receiving a retirement benefit on or before June 30, 2022. Retirees entitled to the one-time $660 supplement will automatically receive this payment in their July 31, 2023, retirement benefit allowance.
