NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A man has died following a shooting on Nicholson Street that happened in late October.
On October 22, 2022, around 9:55 p.m. police responded to the 400 block of Nicholson Street for the report of a gunshot victim. When the officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man, identified as Travis L. Blakely, 34, was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in serious condition at the time of the incident. Blakely died at the hospital on December 5, 2022, as a result of his injuries.
Detectives have not released any additional circumstance surrounding this incident.
