NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A Norfolk man has been arrested on charges stemming from a shooting that left one-person dead.
On July 9, 2022, around 11:49 p.m. Officers responded to 2701 E. Ocean View Avenue for the report of a gunshot victim. When police arrived, they found Todd L. Wilson, 31, of Norfolk, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Wilson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, detectives have charged Kenneth L. Yates, 43, with second degree murder and use of a firearm. Yates is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail with no bond.
