Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center offers pet adoptions for $35 through July 1
NORFOLK, VA – The Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center (NACC) is at critical capacity. A “Summer is Cooler with Pets” promotion is being offered to encourage families and individuals to adopt a new furry friend. Adoptions are available for $35 each through July 1. This promotion is made possible through a Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center subsidy.
Animals available for adoption can be viewed online at www.norfolk.gov/nacc. The site includes all animals available in the shelter as well as animals in foster.
NACC is in need of foster parents, too. NACC provides all supplies and medical care. Want to learn more? Email fosterNACC@Norfolk.gov.
Want to help but currently unable to house an animal? NACC is always on-boarding and training new volunteers. Volunteers play an essential role in maintaining NACC’s standard of care. Email volunteerNACC@Norfolk.gov to get all the details on volunteer orientation.

Tuesdays & Wednesdays
2:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Fridays
2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturdays & Sundays
Noon - 4:30 p.m.
