NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have identified the man fatally shot Friday evening as 29-year-old Dresean L. Porter of Norfolk.
Around 8:30 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a gunshot disturbance in the 800 block of Tyler Street. When police arrived, they found Porter suffering from a gunshot wound. Porter was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have not released any suspect information or the circumstances surrounding this deadly incident; however, they ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at Line 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3Tips mobile app.
