[ARCHIVED] Teenager dies following triple shooting on Campostella Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate an overnight shooting in Campostella that left one teenage male dead, and two others injured.

Around 8:00 p.m., on October 8, 2020 dispatchers received a call for a gunshot disturbance in the 400 block of Campostella Road. When officers arrived on-scene they located the three teenagers who were all suffering from gunshot wounds.

A 16-year-old male was transported to the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.

Two others, a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old male, were both transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.
