[ARCHIVED] Woman injured in overnight hit and run accident on N. Military Highway

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Police are investigating a hit and run accident that has left a 62-year-old woman in critical condition. 

Around 1:15 this morning Officers responded to the 500 block of N. Military Highway for an accident involving a pedestrian. The preliminary investigation revealed the woman was crossing over N. Military Highway when she was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene.

The woman was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about this hit and run to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip using the P3Tips mobile app.
