NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A Norfolk man has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal stabbing on Armfield Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Around 5:00 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a stabbing victim in the 7700 block of Armfield Avenue. When first responders arrived, they found a 71-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. The man was pronounced deceased on-scene. The man’s identity will be released when his family has been notified.
As a result of the investigation, detectives have charged William P. Felton II, 74, with second-degree murder. Felton, of the 7700 block of Armfield Avenue, is being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Detectives have not released the motive or circumstances surrounding this stabbing.
