NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk’s Department of Human Services will host a resource fair to help Medicaid recipients make informed decisions about the managed care organization they choose for health care.
Those enrolled in Medicaid must choose a managed care organization during the open enrollment period, which ends Dec. 18, for plan changes that take effect Jan. 1, 2020. This resource fair offers Medicaid recipients a chance to talk to representatives from Managed Care Organizations including Aetna Better Health of Virginia, Anthem Healthkeepers, Magellan Complete Care of Virginia, Optima, United Healthcare and Dental Quest.
Each provider offers different services and benefits to enrollees. Learn about each program and dental services provided to those in managed care organizations.
The fair will be held Nov. 22, 1-2:30 p.m. at the Workforce Development Center, 201 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk.
