NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk is ready to welcome the world this weekend for the 2019 Virginia International Tattoo and Norfolk NATO Festival. The festivities begin Thursday, April 25th at 5:00 p.m. with the Norfolk NATO Festival Flag Raising on the Scope plaza. Then at 7:30 p.m. the bands march and the pipes play to kickoff the Virginia International Tattoo inside the Scope Arena. This year’s theme honors the courage and commitment of women in the military.
Highlights of the weekend include the Parade of Nations, a rugby exhibition match, and the Tattoo Hullabaloo, putting you face-to-face with the cast of the Virginia International Tattoo.
